Korall Necklace
Inspired by
a coral
We have made quality our habit. It’s not something that we just strive for – we live by this principle every day.
Inspired
by coral
Small corals inspired me for this piece of jewellery. The focus was to create an underwater world that you can wear around your neck.
Manufacturing
The shell-like shape is held together in the middle by a snap and can be opened or closed effortlessly using magnets. The corals are securely held by the hand-sawn metal corals and thus form a central connection with the metal.

Fish Necklace
In the rhythm
of light
Every day, sea creatures migrate from the deep sea to the water surface to find food. Plankton plays a central role in this, as it follows the light and moves towards the surface at a crazy speed. In my jewellery I wanted to capture and depict this enormous movement.
Manufacturing
The individual fish were made with the help of a drop hammer. This involves dropping a heavy weight into a mould in a controlled manner.

Customizable Scent
The idea behind this piece of jewelry was to be able to create a customizable scent. Each button has a specific scent which, when attached to the brooch, creates a very individual combination.

Ancient casting technique
Ashianti casting is an ancient form of centrifugal casting. With this elaborate technique, even more complex wax models can be cast in detail.
Mold Making & Casting
In the process, the prepared wax models are wrapped in a clay mixture and the pear-shaped moulds are dried on an open fire. When the moulds, are ready, they can be cast.
